NFCU LOVE!!!!!

So for the past 4 months I have been rebuilding my credit. I'm currently deployed, so alot of this was going to have to be done through my wife, which had POA. Just in the past month, I have been able to have a solid ground on paying off my debts, joined NFCU, was able to get their Cash Rewards, card ($1K), bought a vehicle this week($3700 loan @ 5.29%/48month), and just pushed the luv button to increase my limit to $2K as of yesterday. If anyone has the opportunity to join, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!...They are very generous to their members, even the ones with less than stellar credit like myself!!!! This couldn't have been possible without all the great forums and advice everyone has given on here!!!

yeah, i got the 3-5 day message. They pulled TU, but it's ok, cause it's only my 2nd HP. It's totally worth the pull. I'm done app'ing for the rest of the year. I'm happy!! :-)

I might go back and ask to go to $5k... Unless they have you at a new hard $2k internal the system should give you an instant approval, or counter and that would be the new hard internal vs. go for another review.  A Poster just the other day was posting about asking for $500, then another $500... I said to ask for $20k!, they did $17k, the system countered back $10k.... think with the 3 $500 requests they were at about $6k.... so you see asking big was better!

But SUPER congrats either way!

I did this online, as I'm deployed and there's also the time difference...would it make more sense for me to go back online and ask up to $5k and wait, or have my wife call it in or go into a branch?...I don't want to use up HP's seeing as NFCU is HP happy...
