I just app'd for the NFUC navcheck and was instantly approved for 15K just two days after being approved for the NFCU Visa Flagship with a 20K limit and to top it off I closed on my first home 12/19. This site has been amazing. I know I have racked up on some sweet credit, but I sure do plan on using it wisely because I know what it feels like to have horrible credit and I do not intend to go back there. Now I am seriously thinking about app'ing for the best buy card or either the Chase Freedom. I wanted the best buy to get some things for the house and use my military discount along with the 5% for using the card.

Woo! Congrats on the NavChek approval. Now after seeing this, I think a secured USAA AMEX is not a smart choice
