2. The magical gold box o' offers on the PenFed website offered a $22,000 increase on my Travel Rewards Amex. I didn't believe it at first.....but the available credit in my account now states $36,000. Unbelievable! I was shaking when it went thru!

Every quarter on the accounts summary page there's a gold box of pre-approvals on the right side. They're usually things like auto/boat loans, but sometimes you get lucky and you're eligible for a CLI or a new credit card.
