Ive had savings accounts with Penfed for about 10 months. I decided to apply for Checking acct which was approved Monday. When I called they said not everyone automatically gets Thrifty and I didnt. So the rep submitted the app yesterday and today it is approved. I only asked for $500.
Its like overdraft. Im hoping this opens more doors eventually and wanted to take advantage of the same hard pull. She said I can use same hp for 30 days. I might try for a card again. Do you have Penfed lhcole?

I don't have PenFed (yet.....). I am keeping them in mind though after my new accounts have aged a bit.

Before you app think... Have you done your research of the CC? Does it fit your spending? Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt? Can you afford the AF? Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?
