Shoping on walmart** pre approved pop up

So I was shopping on walmart. I do it ALOT and never got the little pop up message at check out until today. pre approved  get 25.00 off with 75.00 order blah blah blah... I didnt take it but wonder if NEXT time it pops up if I sould? I dont know if its a HP or SP and dont want a HP right now and dont need a CC so figured I would be safe and pass!!  Any one who has got this , can you give insight please?

I got this about 4 months ago. Instant pop-up. It was a SP for me and only asked for the last 4# of SS. I was approved for a CL of $600. Within 10 minutes I apped for Amazon, and was approved for a CL of $600, and Old Navy, and was approved for $600 after verification of name etc.

All TL had an auto CLI of $1000 each after the cutting of the 4th Statement.

I do not know if you have to be an existing GERB to get the pop-up. I already had a CareCredit account that was nearly paid off.

I dont have any  and I applied on line over a yr ago and got denied ( but it was the regualr app link , not the pop up)  but I also had a few major baddies, which I dont now and I was also going through ebates into the walmart site, but I wasnt sure if it was hard or soft pull :-)

Yeah, thinking about it, I apped for Walmart before, and was declined. I wonder if GERB SP previous applicants for future approval.

If this helps, my TU was 650 when I got the pop-up. I had 10 baddies, and no lates in the last 12 months.

I decided to pull my denial letter from walmart:

app date 12/23/12  score was 549 TU

I had 2 CC new, 3judgements, 1 tax lein  ...lol looking back.. it was ugly!!!

I now have 8 cards, auto loan, no lates in last 12 months, and just 2 charge off's and a forclosure left to fall off. and my TU 666 

wow I have grown  :-)   I will try it next time if its just a SP just to see but will not waste a HP on them again.
