Congrats OP !!
Target is a strange one
I opened my card sometimes in July i think last year and got a $500 CL. Then I got a CLI to $700 in Nov 2012 and another one in january this year. I now sit at a CL of $900. I do use the card though but the max i put on it per month is about $40-60 although I have gone as high as $200 but alway PIF.
I hope to at least break the $1000 CL.

Congratulations! This is excellent news. I had a Red Card for years before I got any luv, and they are not the easiest CSRs to deal with. I had a late that I was able to prove was a bank error, and that sucker stayed with me like an evil shadow until it fell off. No goodwill for me.
What did finally work for me, I think, is that I ran it up to the $200 it seemed eternally stuck at, and had it set to auto PIF every month for a year. One day I opened my statement and was shocked to see they had Auto CLI'ed me to $1,000, and back in November, I think, they Auto CLI'ed me to $1300. My credit profile changed, too, so that might also have been it, but either way, I know it is TOUGH to get a CLI, so a huge congrats to YOU!
I had that card for more than 7 years before it CLI'ed. Seriously crazy...along with Kohls, who also shows me no luv.
Edited fo rtypos. Alwwwaaaaaaaays with the typos....sigh.

The REDcard credit cards are issued by TD Bank USA, N.A. The REDcard debit card is issued by Target Corporation."
I am going to call their CS dept and see if I can now request a CLI. before they always said no no consumers request clis
