Okay, so I was in Target today and they had the Xbox One. I didn't think anyone anywhere had them left and I wanted it. I had a 10% coupon for all electronics in the mail and thought how great it would be to save an extra $50. I was asked by the clerk about their debit RedCard first to save an additional 5%, but did not have any checks with me. So, she said I could try their CC. From all the negative reviews and low limit everyone had, I declined it. I ended buying so many accessories like games, an extra controller and xbox points that every little savings would help. So, I went ahead and did it and got a $2500 limit. So, it isn't always $200 and $300 here.
That's Awsome! Congrats! Thanks for sharing.
Congrats on the new TL

You are really making me want to open up another Target card... Congrats on the approval! I think that is the highest initial Target CL I have ever seen! I closed mine last year because I thought it was a good idea then. Now, not so much. I really enjoyed the 5% off. I could really use that discount a lot more with a $2,500 limit.
Well, I'm loving the 5% off everything Target sells, except phamarcy. They say the debit card works the same way with the 5% off. I would of opened the debit card instead of the CC, but I didn't have any checks at the moment. The APR is high at 22% so to see any real savings, you'll have to pay in full always. That is no different than having a debit card and withdrawing from your bank account without the hassle of interests and late payment fees, etc. I'm planning to open a Debit Redcard as well.
Thanks for the motivation!!!! How did you get your scores from 500's to the high 700's?! What was your method?!
Congrats, OP!
