UPDATED: NFCU Recon Success!!!!

I was approved for a cash rewards card with a $1k limit. I find the amount to be paltry in comparison to my other card limits. I've read many postings on this forum about how generous NFCU are with CL's and CLI's. Should I recon? Has anyone had a successful recon experience?

Re: Should I Recon NFCU??

Can you take care of those 1st? How did you get the 5 primes did you recon? You can recon...but I dont know how much more you would get. I would email them and explain the reasons of why and how you got those baddies.

You call them and plead your case just like any other creditor. They are generally very flexible.

Re: Should I Recon NFCU??

The baddies are there to stay for now. 2 are expected to fall off next year. They are all paid and closed accounts. I tried sending GW letters but no success. Not sure what you mean by how dI'd I get my prime cards? Some I applied for and others solicited me. Yes, I can explain how I got the baddies. My credit history since the baddies have been immaculate. I think I will call and plead my case.
