In February 2013 I got approved for a Capital One Cash Rewards card with a $2000 credit limit. My highest limit at that time. Along with my welcome package I guess Capital One put in their "Step Up" program or something to that effect. Anyways they stated that if I made 5 payments on-time they would give me a credit limit increase of $500 by my 7th statement. Taking my credit limit from $2000 to $2500.
A couple of days ago I got a message from Capital One, when I logged into my account I saw that they had given a credit limit increase of $3000. I was shocked to say the least given what I have read in this forum. Now my total CL is $5000 which makes my second credit card with a $5000 limit.
I am interested in applying next for either a Discover Card or a Bank of America\ Travel Rewards card with the EMV chip. Does any one here have any information regarding their approval rate?

Congrats
My EQ score is 625 now, my TU score is 630, and my EX score is 668.
Way to go, email EO and see if they will upgrade you to a Siggy. Also to get a Discover, I think your score needs to be about 50-60pts higher...
