How did you verify income with WF? Paystubs? Just asking because I had a recent app with KeyBank and they want 4506T authorization. I didn't think most banks asked for that stuff up front but I was wrong.
Thank you. WF never asked me to verify income only social security number. Needless to say verifying my ssn was a process. I've never heard of anyone other than Amex needing that 4506T or something similiar.

Approved for $2,000. Not the CL I was looking for, but it beats the $500 I got from Huntington. I'm officially in the garden now. Thank you all for your support!
Congrats on your approval!!!! I am glad you got the card. It is better than denial.
Ron.

Thanks Ron it certainly is. I'm off to the garden now. Well try to grow what I have, but that may be a stretch with income of 64k. I don't carry any real balances on these cards, but I do use them by rotating usage each month.
You're welcome. They should have given more at least $5K. It is better than your Huntington Voice. WF is very conservative. I only got $1800 for my Kirklands.
Ron.
Called WF to see if I could get higher limit. Credit dept. said they approve for the highest limit. I was told that they periodically review accounts for auto cli in 7-10 months based on credit history and usage. CSR said I have 0% for 12 months and then variable after that. Couldn't tell me what the actual rate would be after 12 months, but no worries since I PIF. I'll start using the WF, 5/3, US Bank, Huntington and Fidelity cards exclusively to see what happens in the next 6 months.
Congrats on your Wells Fargo approval. For me they have been my most steady grantor of CLIs. The card gets minimal usage ($50 a month or so) but I call in every 6 months and request a CLI. I always ask for $5000 and the always counter me with a lower amount and offer to send it to UW for additional consideraton with a HP. I normally just accept the counter offer and it has never been a HP.
Have went from $500>$700>$1200>$1400>$2000 on this card.
They have also offered bonus earnings at times (bumping the 1% standard cash to 3-5% in selected categories at certian times.

Thanks for the information. That helps. I'm going to run about $1,000 a month through there and PIF before statement cuts and see what they do. I'll be asking to go to $7,000 my first go round.

NP, Just remember it appears that frontline CSR can give CLI after 6 months with a SP, but if they offer to escalate to UW it will more than likely be a HP. YMMV however.
