amex invitation to increase credit limit email

Hey guys, today I received an email from amex saying that they want to increase my credit limit by $1600. Is this normal? Never seen one as a lurker here for a year. Would this result into a hard pull?

Congrats!  Take it.   AFAIK, no AMEX CLIs would generate an HP.

Received similar E-mail offer in the amt of $3600 ~ 2 mos ago. So if you choose to accept offer, which I know u will Smiley Wink, it will not result in HP/SP!

And this normal of AMEX? well I've been with them since 2006 and never use to receive such offers, then again my credit was AWFUL! Smiley Embarassed

Doesn't really matter what's normal.  They'll offer it to those who qualify so not everyone will receive such an offer.

Awesome news! I received one of those e-mails earlier this year for an increase of $2k.  Was a no-brainer! Enjoy!

800+ across all three (via FAKOs) has been achieved! Current goal - Get down to 6 cards in total - sitting with 8 currently.
