I tried for softpull cli, but they said that HP is needed. Took the HP
Asked for $10,000 and they countered with $9,500
CLI from $4500 to $9500
I am not sure which credit report they pulled. I guess I will find out soon.

Congrats, nice increase! I requested a CLI on my Discover a few days ago and got a HP on TU. I'm in North CA.

No unfortunately not.

On an unrelated note:
I requested a CLI from BofA and they couldn't approve the amount I requested so they sent me a score in the mail. They pulled TU as well. The next day I called BofA and recon'd the CLI and got what I requested.
I just got the score in the mail today, BofA said my 07/30 fico score was 816 on TU. Which is interesting. The score I pulled from myFico from 7/20 was only 776.

congrats on clis from discover and boa. great job on recon. 816 and 776 are awesome scores, i hope to get there at some point. why in the world would boa not grant your request first time with such good scores ? Thats crazy.
The rep on the phone told me it was probably because I just opened a new Fidelity Amex and it's backed by FIA, so they just extended me a line. That and I asked for 5X the limit. So the computer wouldn't do any more but after a manual review he was able to.
I got 2 letters today from bofa, one said sorry we couldn't give you the limit you wanted and a list of reasons why (too many inquiries, no recent installment account, age of account is too new, etc) the and then another letter saying congrats, here is your full limit requested! Lol
