5/24 Rule Data

I have seen mixed data on if retail cards are counted towards the 5/24 rule. They are. I just got off the phone with the gentlemen and he said they do. But he also said that he doesn't know what rule I am talking about lol. Anyway, just thought I would share.

Lol. He asked me if there was anything else he could help me with, I said not unless you can get me around your rule. Then he bid me a farewell lol

Re: 5/24 Rule Data

Similar question, if I have exactly 5 card in 24 months, does that mean I am just under the limit or just over it?

Re: 5/24 Rule Data

Neither, it means you're right at the limit.

Re: 5/24 Rule Data

That doesn't really answer the question. With 5 cards can you apply for a chase card (under the limit) or not (over the limit)?

Re: 5/24 Rule Data

No, you can not apply because you're at the limit.

Re: 5/24 Rule Data

It means you are at the limit and you will very likely be denied.
