AMEX SPG Approval and general American Express question...

So two months ago I was approved for the Amex Gold Delta card and was recently approved for 3X CLI request from $2,000 to $6,000.

On Thursday I applied for the Amex Starwood Preferred Guest card and today my "In Progress" status changed to Approved for $2,000!!!

I understand that the $25,000 limit before a Financial Review isn't really set in stone but the question I have is this...

If I request a limit over $25,000 across multiple cards count the same as $25,000 on one card?

So if I have $18,000 on one card (which I will be requesting on the Delta) and let's say $8,000  on another card equaling $26,000 treated the same as a single request over $25,000?

25k one card and 36k across all trade lines. That's the rumor anyways.

I know that they reviewed me for heavy spend on my Platinum Card. It wasn't a full FR, because I didn't get any requests for documents, etc-- but they sent me a letter with a $21.5k limit which later increased to $27k. 

I'm the only person I know with a hard limit on an otherwise NPSL card.

Let me add that I have a 10k limit on Amex Blue in addition to the previous post about 27k on Platinum

As for the Delta with the 3X CLI I used it for all my purchases for two months -- I even let my balances post but paid in full and was approved. 

The SPG showed "in progress" for two days but it was approved. 

It's pretty exciting!
