Hi,
Thanks for the info...I hope they reconsider, I have a great banking relationship with them too. One more question, is it a hard pull for CLI's?
In my case it has been each time. I find it easier to complete the spend, get the bonus and transfer the existing CL to my Siggy before closing the other card
I guess I have another question ha ha. I have 4 credit cards now (Alaska Airlines $3000, Discover it $7000, Capital One Quicksilver 1 $7000 and a Capital One secured MasterCard that I got a year after bankruptcy.) I am thinking of closing the secured card and getting my deposit back. I was thinking about possibly applying for a new Venture card before I do that. I read on here they don't much like to give the deposits back. Also that secured card is my oldest open account. Should I wait to recon BofA to try for the higher limit signature card before applying for another card?
Good luck with a recon however I would be surprised if they give you the siggy card and even if they do u will not get the bonus miles or other benefits. To get that u must be approved for the siggy initially. I would def close the secured card. U can then apply for the venture.
Hi All,
Sorry for the late reply I did recon BofA with no luck., the reason being is my CLI's for Cap1 and Discover weren't showing yet and the $3000 CL was in line with what the others were. Her advice was to reapply for the visa signature card in 6 months. I guess that is what I will do. That being said, I applied for VentureOne that day and was approved for $30000, and I closed my CapOne secured acct. finally. Thanks so much for all the help!
