No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
Also.. I don't think there are any specific spend requirements to get your limit that high...
you just have to keep your credit great....
ya know.. keep util low.. don't take on too much credit in a short period of time...You already have a lot of other really high CL cards... this is just my opinion...
many ppl have success with the 3xcli on this forum!! :-) and it is typically a SOFT pull on Experian too.
Good to know. I'll be at 61 days on 2/23, I'll request $25k and see how it goes. It can't hurt!

I'm basically in the same boat. I got my BCE in November with an initial limit of $8000 and I think my 61 days is up next Wednesday. I plan to ask for the full $24000 and see what happens. I'll be sure to let you know what the results are.
That would be great...because this is something that I am very curious about now.

Congrats! I'm curious about the 3x too. I was just approved last week for the Amex Blue Sky card for 2400.00. At 61 days I will ask for and increase to 5,000. I would like more but I just don't have alot of high limit cards on my cards yet so I think they would turn it down.
From what I understand, Amex will counter with a lesser amount so I would ask for the full 3x's. I go for my increase on the 12th...we shall see
Wow Congrats to every one. I hope you all get high limits!!! Keep us posted.

My CL is 15k-- at 61 days do I ask for 45K? That seems really excessive, especially since 15k is my highest limit BY FAR.
Also, is it 61 days from the date of approval, or activation?
let me know if i should ask elsewhere.
THANKS
I think that the "wisdom" here is that the 3x CLI is actually MIN(3xCLI, $25K), i.e. at 61 days you can get up to 3 times your credit limit, or 25K, whichever is the smaller.
But also Amex counters, so if you ask too much they can respond with a lower figure (or just say no).
If you want to go above 25K (for the first time) experience here, including mine, is that Amex will ask for your tax returns. This isn't a real Financial Review because your accounts aren't frozen, if you don't send in the required info, they just don't give you the CLI, whereas in a FR they close your accounts if you don't cooperate.
