Amex 3x CLI 63 day increase!

I have been reading about the 3x CLI after 60 days and have had some doubts about whether it would work for me or not. But I have read it is an SP so I figured I had nothing to lose when I requested 15k (my original CL was 5k). Guess what? Amex increased my CL to 15K immediately. I guess miracles still happen!

If I may ask, what made you think it may not work in your case? Issues with scores? I have been giving serious thought for going for the increase, but not sure about it either. My scores are "decent" and my UTIL is pretty low (about 3-4%), but with my past I am just not sure. I have a good track record with Amex, paying in full every month, however I have ONE 30-day late with them from about two years ago, so I fear that one late may disqualify me. I sent a GW letter to them about a week ago, but have not heard anything yet.

Year 2012: All Scores in the 520 range, during a foreclosure, CC Settlement and high UTIL. Very ugly days...
April 2024: EX8: 840; EQ8: 832; TU8: 842 -- Middle Mortgage Score: 822

EW - I think it was more paranoia than anything that made me apprehensive. My scores are around 690+ / low 700's.
