Amex 61 day CLI... Should I?

I was approved for the Amex Everyday this month. However, my income is going to change in the new year. DH got a raise and promotion so I will be going part-time so I can spend more time with him and our kids. This change in income, will that spook Amex? Will they want to do a FR if I request the CLI and list less income than when I applied? I'm thinking I shouldn't request the CLI. The $5k limit is pretty decent for my needs.
