So a little back story I have two current Amex credit cards at the moment and I really wanted the travel card because I'm planning on going to Hawaii soon. I original got a BCE and then a AMEX Everyday which went into a pending status because I applied within a day. Well couple days later it got approved. I closed down the BCE don't ask me why because I still don't know. About a month later I applied for the BCP and it got cancelled because I couldn't apply for another card within a time frame of a "couple" months. So I waited another month and then applied again. Pending status. Two days later it came back as approved. Well just ten days later I decided to apply for the Gold Delta which was yesterday and it went into pending again. The people at Amex put a rush delivery if approved which they did the last two times as well. I'm hoping it comes back as approved and make it 3 for 3 for this pending status deal. They haven't pulled my credit yet since I'm a card member but if they pull it it means I got it pretty much. Just wanted to share my experience. Amex is really good at working with me which I love!

I literally got approved for three AMEX cards within a 15 day period so don't count your third AMEX out.
I apped and got the AMEX Green card (NPSL), then applied and got the AMEX Delta Gold Skymiles ($5K), then applied and got the AMEX BCE ($1K). All of this with a EX score in the 670s.
I say go for it!! I love AMEX and apparently you do too!!

That's awesome! I got approved for the BCE at 1,000 then the Amex Everyday at 10,000. Closed the BCE then approved for BCP at 2,000 and now waiting to see about this one.
