I'm speechless after going against the advice of some on here. But it just goes to show that your mileage may vary!
Started out a year ago with no Credit cards and a really low score in the upper 500's.
Was approved in December for a Cap 1 QS. Made only 5 payments and just a few weeks ago I logged on to see my CL go from $300 to $1800 automatically!! Thought it was going to take 7 months to get it up to $500 according to the credit steps info, so $1800 was awesome.
Waited until my 6th payment posted on TU and couldn't resist the urge to do some appin'
Started out with Amex and got an instant approval!! It didn't give me a CL but the card is on the way!! Not sure what the CL is but,,,Yay!
Next I tried a Chase Freedom and it was an instant approval too! With a $3,500.00 CL!!! I was in shock with a CL of $3,500.00
So I decided to try my luck at a Discover IT. Got another instant approval!! Just got the card in the mail today and my jaw dropped when I opened the package and saw the CL was $10,000.00!!!!
HOLY COW!!!!
I bought all 3 FICOs here just a few days before I went on the spree. Scores were as follows:

TU 711
Only 6 months of CC history with a CAP1 QS $0 balance, two year history car loan, no lates, balance $1800, one judgement about to fall off in 2015
I'm now in the garden for at least a solid year.
