Applying for Discover after 10 months of pre-approved offers!

So my fiancée has been getting pre-approved offers from Discover for the last 10 months offering 14 months no interest and a 13-15% APR.

Her FICO scores are 719 EX 738 TU 732 EQ

Income 60k

What's your guess for the Starting Limit?
Her current highest is 12.5k with BOA.

Re: Applying for Discover after 10 months of pre-approved offers!

I got Discover a couple of weeks ago...

Similar fico score, much higher income, but really really short AAoA.   I only got 1250, while two other apps brought me 15000 and 10000.

I dont think you can guess until you apply....

Re: Applying for Discover after 10 months of pre-approved offers!

I think her AAOA is like 4 years 8 months.

Here's what Discover's CreditScorecard said,

"Length of Credit History
Good
A reasonably established credit history is generally seen as less risky by many lenders."

She's also been an AU on her Dad's Discover card about 8 years now and that's had a perfect history.

I mean you can always guess based on information that's how people see which cards to app for based on what people with similar profiles have app'd for and gotten Smiley Wink

It's relatively easy to get a 720 when you're 18-20, but maintaining that score for years is something of true character and that's what Discover likes apparently.
