Oh god, I have been pitifully pursuing this card for two years and finally got approved tonight! I've had a Freedom with them for about a year but they wouldn't budge on raising my credit limit above $1000. A few months ago, AMEX gave me a Blue Cash Everyday and raised my limit to $4k about a month ago. I pulled my credit score around then to it was at 725, the highest it's ever been, and waited to apply until I had my stuff together and paid off.
Took the plunge and got approved with a $5k limit, which is pretty nice to me! Capital One is officially out of my wallet with their measly $1250 line, Freedom is probably going to leave as well with the even worse $1000 line, so I'm left with my $1500 Discover, $4k AMEX and $5k Sapphire! I'm 20 and in the midst of college so I'm pretty happy with how I've been taking care of my credit cards. No baddies, no missed payments, and now I'm in with three great companies.
Congrats, but Sapphire maked so darkkkkkkkkkk and ugly lol.
I'm cool with that!
Thank you very much! I feel much more like an adult without those punny low lines, but now I need to convince Discover to be generous with me.
Congratulations on the CS. An Excellent card, it was my first Chase credit card.
I'd suggest keeping the Freedom card, because the 5%+ the CS with UR = awesome combo.
Congrats
Congrats on the approval and finally getting a card you have always wanted!!!
