Can someone put 1-800-695-5171 under Citi. This is the only line that was able to give me a direct answer about my application (vs its pending) and was located in the US vs outsourced. It appears they also have decision making powers because she said maybe she can give me a decision today.
888-337-7253 (Discover credit analyst, deals with CLIs etc. Open until 10 EST)
888-609-7805 (Chase lending services. It appears they have multiple numbers for the same department.)
People say Citi has no recon number and that you should call EO directly.
Not really true.
Credit (lending) dept (account analysts):
(800) 763-9795
(800) 695-5171
(866) 606-2787
Mo-Fr 8am-11pm. Sa-Su 9am-9pm EST
just used Chase 888-688-6708 (Verification) and 888-245-0625 (Recon) number. They both are still working. Thanks guys!!
Has anybody had any luck getting Capital One to reduce APR using the account specialist numbers above? I'm in the process of pouring a lot of money into paying off credit cards, and it would be nice to make it go even faster by not getting charged interest.

More than likely not. However, a recent Capital One thread may provide more insight on your specific scenario:
Barclay's EO #1: (866) 750-6031
Barclay's EO #2: (302) 255-8000
Chase (direct line to CSR): (800) 493-3319
Macy's EO: (513) 579-7000
Discover EO: (224) 405-0900
Kohl's EO: (262) 703-7000
Target EO: (612) 304-6073
I'm so glad I stumbled onto this thread, and more importantly this site! However, I need some help. I've tried calling the American Express Executive Office number and it asks for an extension. I've tried using all zeros, but that just kicks you back to where it asks for an extension. Any guidance on how to reach out them is much appreciated!
How do I know which number to call for Capital One recon?
I have applied for the Platinum & Business Spark card. Both denied because "I have too many past or present delinquent accounts." I had 3 Capital One accounts, 1 business account I paid in full and 2 personal accounts that were discharged in my Chapter 7. They are not even pulling my credit report when I apply.
They don't recon declines generally. If you are on their BL, you just have to wait it out. Some folks have called and been told when they can get in. You can try that.
Since they don't pull your credit, you can just keep trying. They will let you back in soon, but it might be a few months. They are the most forgiving lender.
