Okay so I got the Apple card in Sept 2012 with a $1K CL.
PC'd to the Rewards card Jan 2013. Today that card has a $3.3K CL and all increases were auto.
App'd for the Sallie Mae card earlier this month (March).
Instantly approved for $650
Now that was outrageous!
I called the backdoor and the analyst was like oh yea, that's not right and wasn't sure why it would give me such a low limit.
She increased it to a $5K CL.
They pulled TU and I had 5 inquiries and the latest new account was from June 2013, score was 710 and util was 40%.
Oh you're having great success with Barclay
Congrats

She has the rewards card with me as an AU. I got one as well with a $500 limit. I have a couple of months until I hit the 6 month mark.
Thanks for adding to the data point and good luck
My barclays mc that I got approved on thru recon on july 2013 was CLD on the sixth statement... from $5000 to $4000... my util went from ~20% to ~50% though.... at least they didnt close the account.... (knock on wood)... and I applied for several cards, maybe 1 inq on EQ and TU and 6 on EX

Yea, they don't hate me that much yet... but to be honest, I really don't care if they close it.... the APR is super high! and theyll prolly do me a favor if they close it...lol
I just got my auto-CLI today! It came along with the 7th statement. The statement had a nice message on it:
CONGRATULATIONS!
Because you have managed your account responsibly, we've increased your credit line to $6,500.00. This increase is effective right away, so it is available to you now. We hope this increase makes it easier and more convenient to use your Barclaycard Arrival World MasterCard® for all of your purchases.
This was despite the fact that my FICO has dropped since being approved for the card due to new accounts, my only open installment being paid off and closed, and positive accounts falling off and hurting my AAoA. I usually let the statements cut with whatever balance, then pay that full balance by the due date. I have used the card much more than normal during Februrary and the beginning of March, since I used in frequently while on vacation in another country.
I had originally thought that Barclays had passed me over for the auto when my 6th statement cut and I didn't get it. I wasn't horribly perturbed, but I wasn't excited about waiting for another 6 months before they noticed me. I was wrong and I guess they look over accounts for CLI more often than that. It would have been much cooler if they did a $5k to $10k or even $5k to $15k CLI, but I don't think Barclays is nuts to give out more credit like that. Regardless, I am happy that I got something and am anxious to see if they do it again in another 6 months. I like this Barclays card. I pay no annual fee and use it exclusively for dining and travel... both of which I do frequently. I also live outside of the united states and so I save tons of money with the 0% foreign transaction fees. Oh yeah, and I am racking up rewards points pretty fast too, currently at 52557 miles, which is equal to $578.12. Some of that includes a $20k signup bonus, but this card still seems to be earning faster than I expected. I like it!
well started with $500 and got bumped to $1250 which is an odd limit IMO 6 month auto
My sixth statement cuts next month.....so we will see. I keep checking my account for CLI, no word yet. *fingers crossed*
