BOA BBR Approval

A few minutes ago I applied for the BankAmericard Better Balance Rewards credit card from Bank of America. My justification is that I saw it as a way to offset the AF on my CSP. ($25 bonus per quarter = $100 per year).

I was instantly approved with my lowest limit ever $1,000 which indicates I was probably a borderline approval. Are they initial CL recon friendly?

Here are the stats for those curious about applying:

* Previously had a banking relationship with them but I closed it out last year.

* They pulled EX which has 13 inquiries (12 of them within the past 6 months, now I have 14 inqs including BOFAs)

* 12 tradelines added this year

* EX FICO is 703
* 4 Tax liens (2 paid, 2 unpaid)

* No other baddies

* Utilization is 5.18%
* AAoA is < 3 years

* Income is good

I'd be inclined to agree.

I'm there too, Lol. At least you can get a BoA card.

I applied expecting to be denied but something told me to give it a shot anyways. If I was denied now, I figured it would be no harm since I would have tried 6-12 months from now anyways. I'm considering hitting the garden now but I may go for something else before the end of the year.

Congratulations!. Smiley Happy ...........i have my BOA MLB WMC for about a month now, i haven't even made the first payment yet and i recently requested a CLI using their CLI Online Button and they gave me an extra $1000, BOA works with you Smiley Very Happy , The same can NOT be said about Chase and their lack of CLI Online Button Smiley Frustrated ,Another thing, BOA has 5 Credit Cards on their site that give you $100 if you spend $500 while Chase only has the Freedom and AARP and The AARP is NOT even on their site, i think it is safe to say that Chase has finally lost their mind, Now they want to charge $150 for the Sapphire Preferred Smiley Surprised
