BofA CLI Occupation

I'm a student but also employed. I'm only counting employment for income, but should I put down student or my job as occupation?

Thank you!

Re: BofA CLI Occupation

I would say your job as your occupation, since you're only counting that for income purposes.

+1 Would probably be a different story if you decide to include scholarships, grants and so on.

Re: BofA CLI Occupation

If you needed to explain a very low income and really had no job, student would be applicable.  Otherwise, occupation would be whatever is bringing in the dough.  Some of their options make me chuckle.  Can't remember them all but there are things like Political Figure, Celebrity, Televangelist, etc...

Okay, so maybe no Televangelist or Celebrity, but:

My favorites are Senior Political Figure/Politician (which is the first occupation while the rest are listed alphabetically!), Arms/Ammunition Dealer, Casino/Gaming Owner, Cigarette Distributor, Parking Lot Owner, Pawn Broker, and Vending Machine Operator.  Some of them are very specific, while I have to choose Manager.  There's not really a whole lot of delineation between a C-level exec and the shift manager down at Wendy's.

I still have the button even though the increase shows up. (Should I try it again or would I get double pulled?)

Here are some of my favorite, oddly-specific occupations:

  • Senior Politcal Figure
  • Auctioneer
  • Conv. Store Mgr
  • Parking Lot Owner
  • Vending Machine Operator

There's also no "Other"...

Heart

Glad to see we had some of the same favorites. As for the double pull, they likely wouldn't pull you but would just deny you.  If they would have given you more, they would have already since you asked for a higher amount.
