Good evening, everyone!

Received an e-mail about ten minutes ago stating I had a document waiting for me for my first Capital One credit card (Platinum Mastercard, recently switched to QuicksilverOne). I figured it was the usual statement document (which it was), but it prompted me to look at my account online. Well lo and behold, I see my CL went from $300 to....$1,800! I was definitely shocked for two reasons. One of which was that I figured I'd have to call in for an increase and the other was the amount they gave me on an auto-CLI! I have been so diligent with this card, it was the first card I received when I started rebuilding and I heeded the advice to a tee from all of you on this forum. Use the card for things I was going to buy anyway, pay in full, etc.

I guess Capital One IS really in the holiday spirit this year! Thank you to all of you who help support, advise, and share valuable information to us forum goers!

Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Same here! They have been good to me so far and took a chance on me so early on. Recon on 2nd card was successful and the EO representative was very nice to me. So far I have no complaints.
