So 3 years ago my very first TL was the Cap 1 Platinum. I feel like it had no AF and they eventually changed it to 'Classic Platinum' or something. Regardless I got hit with a $39 AF last year, and I was hoping with my improved credit, 0 UTL on both Cap 1 TL's, that they would be willing to upgrade to the Prestige with no AF. I spoke with the representative using the backdoor number, and she basically said Capital One doesn't do that.. ?!? She said I would need to put in a whole new application for that card? Ugh.
