20-30% I'm guessing

I use it approx 40-49% with the exception of Dec (super low), so I'm guessing they want more than that.

sorry to hear that Smiley Sad How much were you using ?

In a way i am glad i don't have a cap 1 card

My last 6 mos of statements show usage at 40-49% (one month over 50%), except in Dec when they cancelled my cards and sent new ones which were lost in the mail, so I didn't have a card to use during most of December.    Actually the card's been great.  Used it for rebuilding and then got a huge cli once my credit was clean and stable.  They've been good to me.  I don't need it a cli, I'm just surprised I didn't get anything this time around.

They told me the same thing for 2 years. I recently jettisoned my capital one card to the trash heap. Good luck to you.

Re: Cap One CLI denial reason

You are right about that. I got my first card in 2009 with a $500 limit. No 6 month CLI, don't know anything about that. They gave me an auto-CLI in November 2013 of  $1000 for a new CL of $1500.  I used the card at first a lot but soon got frustrated with the low limit and quit but started again after the CLI.  In 2011 they issued me a pre-approved card for $500 that had an auto-CLI at 3 months to $750 and in 2013 it was auto-bumped by $2000 to a $2750 CL. Every time I have called the EO I've been given a lame excuse for why my cards don't move. In December I requested a CLI on the $1500 card and just received card not eligible at this time, no other reason.
