Cap1 EO vs Love Button?

Any preference? I've never used their Love Button. Always call the EO for a CLI. Calling is probably more personalized.  Generally, are the results better?

Re: Cap1 EO vs Love Button?

why not do both? I would say try the luv button first then the EO if that doesnt work. Only thing I guess IF you do get the luv button to work the limit might be lower than acutally talking to a real person.

Re: Cap1 EO vs Love Button?

I figured what the heck, I tried to get a little love online and was rewarded with $2k. Went from $2500. to $4500.  I was going to ask for $5k if I called in. Might still call but overall I'm happy with this.

This morning I called the back door office at GE to see if they would bump my Walmart card from $700. to $1000.  Nope, nada, not going to happen.  Oh well, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. My other cards are growing like I spilled Miracle Grow on them. I think some total vegitation killer leaking onto the Walmart card.

Thanks!  I'm a little surprized that I get some things that others don't. Like a $2k increase from Cap1 or start off with $3k from Target but then keep getting shot down by GE while others get very healthy CLIs.  My TU score tends to be the lowest so I'm going to throughly go over there to see if there is something on it that isn't on the others. Mayve that is whythey have me in the "friend zone".

Re: Cap1 EO vs Love Button?

Nice CLI but it sucks that you couldn't get any backdoor love from GE. Maybe after 6 months of gardening, and the new limit shows up,  they'll be more friendly.

I've had the card for 17 months. Started at $600. and it went to $700. 3 months later.  Meanwhile my other cards have grown by just under $9k.  Doesn't cost me anything to have it plus I get a free FICO score so I'll just let it ride and maybe someday they will become a little more friendly.
