Well hadn't got a new card in awhile. Decided to go for cap1 quicksilver visa w/ 1.5% cash back I needed another visa and it's better than most for everyday purchases.
Hopefully not a hard pull given I was already sent a deal. Called cap1 and the first person I call the line is terrible and breaking up. I managed to tell her to xfer me to someone else. The next person sounded like they were a 14 yo but they did all they needed to do and run it through. No ability to guess what on earth my credit limit might be could be $200 could be 50K. They were obviuosly reading scripts and read terribly and could answer nothing off script. CL turned out to be perfect, so I'm happy with it. I just worry if something goes south the customer service will be pretty bad.
Oh well, I'm ok with it, I would like to milk my 1.5% out of cap1 and have them pay me.
It was a mail offer. So I called the number. I have a capitol 360 high yield (well kind of at 0.75% ) savings account with them only.
Congrats on the new card! It's unfortunate Cap1 doesn't offer better customer service for any of their cards - even the higher tier cards. But like you said, take the 1.5%

Congrats on a new TL with a good limit. From the looks of it, that's worth the HP (with the exception of some of the "shopping cart trick" cards or PCs, new TLs are HP). As for customer service, the EO is great to deal with, should you have account issues.

Unless it was a PC, then your new TL resulted in a HP on all 3 CRAs.
Congratulations on your approval!
That's the other fun thing about Cap 1. But 15K starting CL and soft pull CLIs isn't a bad tradeoff at all for that.
