So Its been a year since my last App Spree and I wanted to get a CSP (which was denied last year) and I had a 100k bonus points offer from Amex for a Business Platinum (even though I have a Personal Platinum already)
I show very high util on my charge/credit cards, which is somewhat misleading. I have alot of reimbursable business expenses, and also charge EVERYTHING I can instead of pay in cash-- I then PIF every month by the due date (but the statement balance still shows on my CR!) but it still looks like I am carrying a balance-- even though I never pay CC interest.
Results:
Chase CSP Approved - $5000 (Called for a PC from Chase Freedom ($0/2000) to CSP and was told I wasnt eligible) So I apped for CSP and was declined due to high util but called recon number and was approved on the 1st call after explaining the Util. Chase Analysts are very polite, personable, and actually listen!
Amex Business Platinum Approved - NPSL + 100,000 MR Bonus Points (I have a personal platinum that hits 1 year in like 5 days, will be PC to PRGold and use the Bus Plat for the travel benefits like FHR/Lounges/Hertz,Hilton,SPG Gold status/Free Boingo Wifi)
Capital One PC from Platinum(my first garbage CC) to Quicksilver (instant approval through secure online chat)
