Re: Chase Credit Card Application Status

I applied for the Chase Freedom on 03/25 and after I applied i was told to call so I did and the young lady told me to fax a copy of my DL and SS card for verification and I did that first thing on 03/26 I have been calling them since the 26th every day and every time I call they tell me it's being reviewed and it could take 30 days for a decision etc... I have no idea what this means I hope i dont have to  wait this long for a denial ;/

Re: Chase Credit Card Application Status

Chase is becoming very difficult for getting creditcard's ..

They are so high on themself.. i spoke to credit specialist... Bla bla...

Your creditscore is good.. but some crappy reason's by not approving me.

But i got approved from Amex, DISCOVER..

If Your looking to apply for Chase/Citi , you better off not applying any credit card for the past 6months or past year.. And i Guarantee You get Approved

Re: Chase Credit Card Application Status

I have a charge off from Chase and I spoke with them about it but they won't take my mone...and give me a number to call. I don't want to deal with CAs so I asked what would happen if I apply, the person on chase end says you should try and see.

So I did apply yesterday and got the 30 days wait notice then I called this morning(bk door number) and the lady was nice, she soft approved me and pushed my file to a senior analyst and I should hear about the decision in the next 72 hours.

Lets see...

I am in a simllar situation. I applied for Chase Freedom 3 months ago and got 7-10 day message online. I called and was told I was denied and given the reasons. Then last month I got a lien removed from my reports and my scores jumped. I reapplied... got 7-10 day message. I called recon number. They asked me to fax address verification in the form of a copy of my driver's license. I did that that same day... fast forward 4 business days. I called and they said that the info I faxed was probably making its way through the system and my app is still pending. So I refaxed the info with a "new and improved" cover sheet with more info about what I was faxing and to who. Today I got a pm from someone who had a similar experience and says it takes a week for a fax to make it from the machine into my app in their system. So I am waiting with my fingers crossed. Most of the posts I have gotten from people on this site have been positive and people seem to think it is a good sign that i haven't been denied yet. I am trying to be patient and positive. I figure if I get denied now I will just reapply once my score goes up another 50 points. I am hoping to hear in a week from them or I will call again.  My scores are at the very border of being acceptable I know. I am trying to be as persuasive as possible because I know in my heart I am a good candidate because I will pay my bill and I will be responsible. I figure if I can be approved for this card now, I can go back in the garden for a very long time with 4 new positive active tradeline in the last 4 month I will have all I need to garden my way to the high 700s...

390/14001100/13001500/15001699/2000Prepaid ,,Recent scores:FICO EX 632,EQ 635,TU 632.. If youlike this could you please give me a kudo by clicking that blue button over to the left? Thanks.Link to my Rebuild Log

Good luck to you dddewdrop!

same to you. Let's hope we both get approved... Idk who has a better chance. We both got there a different way. Its funny it may be the same person who decides for both of us. I hope that credit analyst wakes up on the right side of the bed the next couple days...  :smileyhappy:
