Chase IHG 30-day

I got a bit trigger happy after seeing my Chase FU approval last night so I applied for the Chase IHG MC. Got the 30-day message.

Should i I just wait it out or call a number? Sounds like it might be because I just applied for a Chase card yesterday. Does that match others thoughts?

thisll likely be my last app. Going into the garden for a it before I finance a Car in August.

Update: Denied.

Update 2: I called again because I received two separately worded letters a day a part and the gent said the docs I sent didn't match well enough for them to approve the application. I had sent a Comcast bill and my driver's license but my driver's license had my old address on it. Even though when I asked them what to send a while back the guy said that was fine, turns out it was not fine. The person I spoke to today said a passport and electricity bill would be better and that he'll put in notes for a re-review based on those new documents. Hope is not lost, yet.

Update 3 (final): I was declined (why)

Re: Chase IHG 30-day

Better just to wait it out in my opinion. You can call the automated status line and see what message it’s giving you.

Re: Chase IHG 30-day

Should I wait a few days before doing so?

Re: Chase IHG 30-day

From what I’ve seen, waiting is better. Good luck.

That’s the vibe I’m getting from others.

Re: Chase IHG 30-day

I had a free moment this morning so I called the automated line and got the 2-weeks message. (continues to sit on hands)

Re: Chase IHG 30-day

If I remember correctly, a lot of people had success with the 30 day changing to 2 weeks. Best of luck!

Called the backdoor verification number. They needed to prove my identity so I faxed them some documents and we hung up.
