I have an offer from Chase for the Freedom & Slate cards. I am thinking about applying for the Slate for the 0% offer and no transfer fee. Ive been working on paying down my CC's this year and have made great progress. Looking at my sig and with 21.49% Utilization 12k on NFCU and some on walmart. Do you think chase will give me a high enough limit to transfer NFCU?
No baddies since 2007
EQ 3 Inquries In 2013
EX 6 Inquries In 2013
Tu 7 Inquries In 2013
Thanks for any input.

you checked the pre-qual on chase.com already?
I would say you should get approved just not sure limit, but they are pretty good about recon for enough when you are asking to bt.
Yes on the site both slate and freedom come up. Id rather have the freedom. But Slate has no transfer fees.

yeah if you need the BT do slate and then later pc to freedom.
Yeah thats what im planning on doing. I was just trying to app for anything this year, but zero percent would save some decent money so I think I may have to app.
Also AAoA is aorund 3 years.

If you see the opt out prescreen message at the bottom in a red box and you click on "terms and conditions" and it quotes a specific APR, go ahead and hit that "RESPOND NOW" button and enjoy your new card!
I see the red box, and when i click on Pricing and temrs I get prcing information with a rate.
So thats a good sign?

Yes, very good sign. So long as you haven't wrecked your credit since that Chase "promotional" offer soft pull (likely on TU if you look) which is likely the very first time you ever tried the prequal link, I think it's as solid an offer as you're going to get.
Good luck if you pull the trigger!
Pulling Tigger now.
