I've never had a preapproval for a Chase card. I currently have five of their cards and have had seven total. I closed two cards and moved the limits to other cards.
Dont feel bad about that. You're certainly not alone. One of the myfico members just did the two for one today. Probaly after reading your thread. Lol

I tested the waters on the CSP when I apped for the Amazon..just for giggles. I'm over the 5/24 but figured what the heck. I was denied but only because of 5/24. I'm more like 27/24 . Lol.. Not for inqs or the amount of open credit I already have.

I got my two Chase cards a day apart. Applied for Freedom Sunday afternoon at home and then Freedom Unlimited Monday morning from work. Got the same SL and APR for both. Only one HP (to EQ and EX).
