It's a no-go for me too. The agent for recon was a no go and was robotic reading a script. I really appreciate NFCU and discover for seeing me a person and providing credit. I will not apply for Chase again.

Tried calling in for a recon today, the agent was super nice, asked a ton of questions but in the end still said no.

The people in the Recon department are the Chase cast-off employees. They sound very depressed. This way, they can get the job done. 
He did sound a tad bit smug when he said no. No big deal, I have enough credit for now. I can wait for the BK to drop, let my current accounts grow and let some inq drop off.
