I finally got a $200 auto increase from Discover.  New credit line $1200.

Something is better than nothing.

For those that want to know, my line reached 6 months about three weeks ago and they declined my credit line increase through the automated system.  At that time my utilization was around 35%.  So, I said bump it.  I maxed it out.  My utilization is about 65% now, but I have also paid them over $1000 since my last statement cut through weekly payments.

So I get my credit increase on the 7th statement -not the 6th- with 65% util in tow.

Who would have thought???:smileysurprised:

What is this automated system that you speak of? I may give it a try. Is it just the number on the back of the card?

Re: Finally a Discover CLI

Automatic- no intervention on my part.  I called the automated number 3 weeks ago and it asked for income info, etc., and then declined me.

So when I logged in today and saw my line was increased I was happy.  And, the only thing that has changed in the last three weeks is more of a balance on the card.  lol
