Re: From 0 to prime in 15 months

Welcome to the forum

Eastside like so many others who found this site by chance and the knowledge just reached out and captivated them into wanting more and more.

It's post like yours that will inspire another viewer / lurker into joining MyFico forum for the priceless free information that's shared by each and every individual here.

I remember an old saying  "each one teach one"  to me that's the foundation this site was built on, which is why it's so successful ....not to mention we are just one big friendly, respectful family.

Today someone will read your post and join the MyFico family.

I think that just about says it all:smileywink:

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: From 0 to prime in 15 months

Thank you all for your positive comments.  I hope by this time next year I'll be signing a new mortgage instead of another lease.

I plan on closing my Cap1 secured card before the AF comes due next year.  The card really has no future and it's served it's purpose.  My platinum is only a few months newer, so average age shouldn't be a concern.  Plus I need to keep my DTI to a minimum.  I will attempt the EO route for the platinum though.
