So I called them this morning to see why it is denied (tried chat for CLI) and they said you have active recovery product and we can't process the CLI till you have it. This is contradictory to what has been discussed. I think they won't give me a CLI till next month or so.

Was this based on the CLI request from a few months ago?

No this is what I tried today. Thought at this point they can't use CR for their denial

What's an "active recovery product"?

If you haven't heard of Optima Oasis, look it up. It is meant for people who didn't pay back AmEx on time but paid it back when when they called and the account was CO. They issue this card by an invite.

It took me ... can't remember now how long it was ... at least 8 months to go from $500 SL to now $1500 on my ED card. They seemed real shy about CLI's on my borderline approved ED. At least now I won't have to make as many full payments each month heh.

If you were borderline approved, I wouldn't be very expectant about the 60-90 day CLI at first. Smiley Very Happy
