Can't find any online info about the status of it.  It's a crappy website to say the least.

Yeah it is.  You have to sign in.  Look to the left side and click on 'Loan Applications'.  Another Window will open up and then click on the bottom one that says 'all other loans '.  Don't click on credit cards.  Once you click on 'all other loans' you'll see the below page come up.  Enter the email address you used to apply and you then can go into a message center and check status.

Re: NASAFCU question, HP or SP after membership?

Nothing showing for me at all.  I was approved for membership last year sometime and declined for the CC.  I went ahead and applied again Wednesday the 25th thinking "why not since it's a SP".  Well yesterday I get an alert that there was a HP from NASA on EX.  &#$* me right?!?  I still haven't heard anything from them AT ALL and no loans show up AT ALL on their site.  Even if I login to the loan management shell and manually type in the App status url:  https://cs.loanspq.com/consumer/checkloanstatus.aspx  it says:  "There are no existing loans to display at this point. Please create a loan first."  Well I KNOW there is a loan request to display because I have the HP to prove it!!  When did they start doing HPs?!?!?  UGH!!

Re: NASAFCU question, HP or SP after membership?

There are TWO Ways to apply for the card

https://apply.nasafcu.com/visa

WILL ALWAYS Result in a HP

If you use their Andrea Backend system (for the first time) it will be a SP

Subsequent requests (after 30/60/90 days) it will be a HP

Re: NASAFCU question, HP or SP after membership?

Got my denial letter today....."Excessive/Open Revolving accounts and/or borrowing capacity"

18 CC's at around $150K in CL's....Income $100k.

They also put my EX at 678 with a score range of 320 to 844?  What model is that?

The score on the date that they pulled matches myFICO EX Fico Score 2 - 678.  Fico says it is the previous version used for mortgage lending.  It's whatev I guess.

I app'd because my EX Fico 08 was 711, and even better was my EX bankcard at 723...I was counting on those scores to be used.

Interesting...I applied on the same date for a CLI.. I knew it would be a HP though and there is no indication of the status... I am going to give it the standard 7-10 to see if I get a letter or anything.. if not then I will be calling them.

Re: NASAFCU question, HP or SP after membership?

When they approved me instantly, I didn't see anything either. Even when I logged into check the status of my loan. I conversed with them through phone, it was very easy.

Also my EX score they sent me was at 707. Which is interesting. My ex fico on here is 687, and when I got denied for AMEX, she had it at 684. My CU had ex at 698. So many different variations.

Re: NASAFCU question, HP or SP after membership?

Anybody know if nasa is recon friendly?

My defense would be to look at my EX 08 or EX bankcard score which is 717 to 723, instead of the 678 mortgage score they used.
