After my experience 5 mins ago. If you have NFCU and it's time for a credit increase ALWAYS ALWAYS ask for 25k. No matter your limit. I had a flagship with 14k. A cashreward with 10k( joint user). Wanted just my own cashreward and for some reason they only gave me $500 limit on it back in april but then I just did an online CLI today and my measley $500 card is now 20k. ALways ask for 25k and see what they counter.
I did a CLi of only 5k and was instant, so I immidiately ask for 10k and was instant, and finally just asked for the 25k and they countered at 20k.
Moral of the story don't go against a lot of the advice on here. It has yet to fail me.
