Nope, the MAX PLOC (you call it a CLOC) or NavCheck amount is $15,000. You can't request any more than that amount.

The POI part is really based on your credit score, income, UTI, and relationship with NFCU. Some people get POI pulled on them and others nothing.

Ok that makes sense.  When I first read it I couldn't figure out if I was a special case or what Smiley Happy

1) NFCU - the first CU I joined. Very generous to rebuilders! Known for high limit credit card approvals for those with less than stellar credit. TU pull for membership. EQ(usually) for credit. Platinum MC $25k, Cashrewards Visa $17.5k, CLOC $15k. POI required for CLOC. Those with no military connections can join via the below route:

Navy never asked me for POI when I got the CLOC.  I think it's if you request over $15k?

Oh no I didn't mean it was required for everyone. I will re-word that. They asked POI for my app. And $15k is the max and what I requested.

So what's the deal with Xcel? Membership requirements? And weren't you the one that posted that they give preapprovals?

Navy Federal does not have a PLOC product. They do offer a CLOC.  Just wouldn't want anyone to be confused, or for anyone to call NFCU inquiring about a product they don't offer. Smiley Happy

The best product they have IMO is the high interest rate checking 2.01% up to $25,000.

Yes I did post that Baller. They use EX for products. Mine are still showing up though I still haven't bothered apping for anything.

NFCU is a strange beast. I requested an increase on my Cash rewards over the weekend. Never received a response. Now they're offering a pre-approved go rewards. Lol

The link to use the code doesn't work properly. I really didn't want another CC and would rather increase the limit on the one I have.

SDFCU also sent me a preapproval less than two weeks ago for their CC.

This must be the time if year for preapproval letters and emails?

I just received one from BofA for the Travel rewards (set APR and code)a few days ago. And another from Lumber liquidators (limit already approved)today. Folks say this time of year doesn't make a difference with lenders. I'm finding that hard to believe. Lmao

Re: Official Credit Unions Guide

@Gmood I am already an ACC member. Would I need to specifically join the Maryland chapter for Xcel?
