Re: Can we have "OFFICIAL NFCU CLI - HOW IT WORKS!"

I got the itch again with the love button. Hit it on the Flagship and asked for 25k, immediate counter for 22k.

This the season!!!

This card has a zero balance and I just paid it off recently (4k balance).

Oh I am stoked. In Aug 2012 I didn't have a single card. I'm thankful, trust me.

Re: Can we have "OFFICIAL NFCU CLI - HOW IT WORKS!"

Does anyone have any evidence that the SP on 10/29 is used for recent CLI requests? I am intrigued now, but i'd rather not test the waters and risk a HP. I'm holding out for HARP3 so I can refinance my condo.

Maybe If all of you get cli now, then we all will be up again for sp at the same time, lol!! Maybe then ill be able to post at least triple digit successSmiley Happy. Meantime, I'm gardening and it stinks! Smiley Happy

Re: Can we have "OFFICIAL NFCU CLI - HOW IT WORKS!"

Ok so I have a question!

Nrward was 20,000.00  I took 5,000 over to Cash Rewards( no HP).  so now I have Nrewards 15,000.00  and Cash Rewards 5,000.00 so do I have room on Both now for CLI?

Both have very high UTL for the moment.  I have had NR for 6mo and CR 5months.

I just bought a car and have 10 INQ on EQ which they will pull if its a HP. I know NFCU dont care about inquirys. But th UTL is what I am wondering about.

Before I attempt this luv button .....

Whats are the thoughts on UTL being down first and age of cards?  I know the first time will prob result in a HP..

Re: Can we have "OFFICIAL NFCU CLI - HOW IT WORKS!"

Navy does regular reviews. If your accounts with them are good and your CR looks equally as good, I say go for it.

Ktl,

Personally, I'd pay the until down first.

If you haven't been with Navy for over a year in total (like with checking\savings etc before the cards or car loan), you might want to wait.   They don't mind INQs or somewhat high UTIL but it depends on your file and history with them.  Less than a year might not be the history they might need to see to extend more credit with what you've listed is on your CRs.  For what you put in your siggy for a few past issues, I'd say you're doing fantastic already.  You might want to wait a while and have lower UTIL before asking for anything more...

If you read through this thread (I think this is the correct one), you might find details on how the "luv button" supposedly works for HP and SP indicators, in case you want to try that route.   Navy isn't known for closing accounts, but it has happened.  Asking for too much too soon is usually the trigger from what I've read.
