Will it be safe to try another one. Even thought I will ask for an auto loan in the next 4-5 months ?
IMHO, yes. When I first joined, I asked for a CC and refinanced my auto loan the same day. Then after about a week or 2, CreditAddict convinced me to apply for NavChek or the Checking Line of Credit as it's called now. I originally applied for $2500 and was instantly approved. Then he convinced me again to apply for the full 15K and they countered for 5K, which I have now. So, of course YMMV, but that's how I got my 3 accounts with them.

So I should take the HP on my report ?
Well that's more for you to decide. If you're trying to minimize your HPs right now to ensure the highest CS when you apply for the auto loan later, then maybe you should wait until after. But on the other hand, the NavChek uti will be counted towards your CCs, so if you were able to receive another 5, 10, or even 15K for NavChek, that would be a huge advantage in your overall uti. Plus, you can always use it if you even needed it and can even get checks that draw directly from it without your checkiing account going negative. So, the decision is entirely yours. How many HPs do you have thus far anyway?
EXP i have 6 and TU i have 5, idk about eqifax

Ok, I'm not sure which report NFCU will pull or even how many HPs usually lower your CS, but maybe you should garden a bit more until you get the auto loan. Just my 2 cents, and I'll let someone else chime in.
NFCU last AR'd me on 4/29. Before that, it was 2/27.
If this is any indication, they should be AR'ing me this week. I may try next week. LOL.
I have all my reports frozen anyway.
