My success story. I signed up under a joint account, realized I couldn't apply for credit cards. On May 3rd I signed up for my own account. NFCU did a HP on TransUnion. I applied for Signature Cash Rewards Visa. I got the following messages, under review and review in process. This morning before 8AM I logged in and it said the following:
Congratulations! Based on your creditworthiness, you have been approved for a Signature cashRewards Visa credit card. Your new credit line will be $17,000.00. Your APR will be prime plus 7.4%. You should receive your new card(s) in 7-10 normal mail delivery days.
This was worth the 72 pages of reading I did. I will be logging out going back to page 72 and continue reading the guide. It's too many people to thank but CreditAddict I will start with you. Bowing head and clapping! to you !!!!
PS they hard pulled Transuion twice.
I was afraid I would get denied because I opened 8 new accounts and hd about 6 recent inquiries on Transunion.
*boo*
Only received a CLI on the nRewards, of $2,200, for a total of $7,500. Received the 3-5 message for the cashRewards (the one I'm actually using, weep)! Sent a message to cancel the request so I'm not booted from the garden. HOPEFULLY they got it! *fingers crossed*
Best of luck guys!!!
Anyone had success with obtaining a NFCU CC or CL with an open tax lien on credit from 5 yrs ago?
