I am going to Canada this summer and do not want to pay for a foreign transaction fee on my other cards. I have a Quicksilver card with CapOne, but am not happy with the credit limit and am not sure if I will use it based on that. I have had that card for almost 8 years and they have only reached up to 1,800CL. Should I go for the VentureOne? What are my odds because I am pre-qualified for Venture? What kind of limit should I expect? My last HP was in late January and my scores and other cards are listed below.
Thank you for the help!
Odds are probably pretty good, but the SL is likely to be significantly lower. So, it depends on how much you anticipate your trip will cost.
shoot for it~

Venture starts with 5K minimum
I would say $10-$20k
I agree with creditaddict, $10K++ for V or V1
AND I'd call the EO about that $1800 QS, tell 'em you want $10K but, will accept a counter offer!

Go for venture for the higher limit, and then product change to V1 later....!
Take the points and PC to the V1 and take your higher CL with you
