Question about Cap1 PC...

I have read on this and another board about folks successfully PC'g their C1 Plat MC and/or Visa to QS and/or Venture.....

When you do this, is a HP involved or do they use the latest SP?

When I converted my Capital One Platinum MasterCard to a Quicksilver MasterCard, no HP was done.

I am waiting for their next SP before asking for the PC....I should be 700 across the board at that point! 

How does this work with your CR, do the close the C1 Plat TL and open a QS or Venture TL or do they just change the name and keep the history?

They changed the name, expiration date, cvv code and design of my Cap1 journey card, but kept card number and the history.

My QS was an orchard bank gold from back in the days.. I kept all the history payment and tradeline just changed the name over

My wife got her Platinum MC changed to QS Mastercard and later to QS WMC. There was no HP involved.

when can this be done? My cards are 6/7 months old and just graduated credit steps...

Nevermind, used a pc & found it. My platinum is now a quicksilver one with no annual fee.
