There was an offer for Ameriprise Amex which waived the AF for a year, along with a sign up bonus.  Not sure if that's still active but it is the same Plat Amex.  Although I am apart of Ameriprise, no where on the app did they ask for any referencing information.

I wonder what they would do if someone that isn't a part of Aneriprise applied and was approved via the link and they found out later?  Make you pay the AF? I would think if they cared that much they would require you to enter some info to verify your relationship with Ameriprise.

Honestly, I would leave well enough alone.  There's only so much poking the Amex bear will do for you.

Looks like you may have hit your Internal limit if you got $5,000.

That's exactly what happened to me. I just got off the phone again to try and expedite and they are still creating the account number. She told me wihout me asking that if I wanted a higher limit I'd have to shift over some from my other lines. I guess $23,500 internal limit isn't too bad with $40k annual income stated and all my other available credit.

She did say that once the account number is created ALL Ritz cards are already expedited and sent UPS 2 day, which frequently only takes 1 day. Smiley Happy

Re: Ritz Carlton 140K point offer

I think I am going to app but I have a question. I currently have the CSP and was wondering if I can link and transfer points between Ritz Carlton and CSP? Can I potentially use all the rewards point as a statement credit?
