Shopping cart trick work for you?? Please add to list!

I first read the post on December 9, 2014 and I tried it and was instanty approved for $250 on Ann Taylor, which I had wanted for a while anyways and then later on got approved for Express. I want J.Crew but has never had another pop-up since that day.

Can't get Victoria Secret OR J.Crew to work. 

I was able to get The Loft, Express, and HSN though!!

Pretty disapointed with the toy limits they gave me.

That's the pattern with a lot of them and a reason why you don't want to get too many.

Yeah, I'm kinda regretting my VS with a $350 limit. Loft was a little better at $750 but I shop there all the time. I'm happy with my Overstock $4300 limit and the TR Visa at $2750 could be a little higher but I'm not complaining.  I'm actually considering closing VS but I'm not really sure how that would look on my CR.

I have gotten the popup on VS, Loft, Express, Jcrew (also got letter in mail) and Overstock. The only other one that I have tried (for  giggles) was HSN and didn't get anything but I've read that you need to do something extra on that one.

The shopping cart trick worked for me at the following sites -

JCrew

Brylane Homes

Ann Taylor

Express

Avenue

Linen Source

KingSize

Womans

Has not worked for others so far.

The SCT worked for me for the following:

Ann Taylor (kept)

Overstock (kept)

Venus (declined)

Brylane Home (declined) probably should've kept because of they're 90-day deferred option

Express (kept), but it only worked after receiving a preapproval letter in the mail.

The only other card I'd consider, but no luck at a pop-up, is Vicky S. My stepmom and step-siblings love that place. They are from South Africa and shop there like crazy when they visit me here in the states.

I was able to be approved with express and Victoria's Secret. VS was actually my first preapproval and although they give low limits they increase your limits often. I started off with a $250 limit and and now at $750 in less than a year of having the card. I shop there a lot so it's fine because I don't spend anywhere near that shopping!

I accepted the Express card, but I'm regretting that. I don't even like their clothes. The Loft I like. I REALLY like J Crew, but I can't the SCT to work there. It's becoming an obsession to get that card!!!

Just want to add Marisota.com to the successful SCT list.  I didn't take advantage of it so I'm not sure what type of CL they would've given me.  Comenity Bank still showin' the love.
